EMPOWERING RESEARCH, IDEAS, AND ACTION FOR A FAIRER ECONOMY
At HP GlobalX, we believe that economics should serve everyone. Through our Inclusive Economics initiative, led by Dr. Helen Hoang (Economics for Kids, PhD ANU), we create opportunities for scholars, researchers, and change-makers to explore, design, and deliver solutions that make the economy work for Indigenous communities, people with disabilities, women, and other underrepresented groups.
We invite PhD students, postgraduates, and academics from around the world to collaborate on innovative, high-impact research that:
- Addresses economic inequality and exclusion.
- Explores economic participation for Indigenous peoples.
- Advances Disability Economics – creating policies and models for accessibility, inclusion, and independence.
- Champions Gender Economics — from She-nomics to Mum-nomics — recognising and valuing women’s contributions to the economy at home and in the workforce.

Why Inclusive Economics Matters
Economics is more than numbers, it shapes opportunities, dignity, and fairness in people’s lives. Yet too often, the voices and experiences of underprivileged communities are missing from policy and research. Our mission is to bring those voices to the forefront, using rigorous research and human-centred solutions to lift barriers and expand participation for all.
Let’s build a fairer economy together.
Whether you’re an emerging scholar, an experienced researcher, or a community partner, we welcome you to join our network, collaborate on projects, and turn ideas into action.
